Arte Tedesco is alive and well. After a long hiatus during which he has lived in L.A., New York, and Orlando, he is bringing back the energetic and soulful performances that earned him his unique status among the legends of Pittsburgh Rock.
During the ‘70’s and ‘80’s Arte stunned audiences with his powerful, emotionally charged voice accompanied by a “machine gun” acoustic guitar style. In clubs and in concert, his original music drew capacity crowds in Western Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland.
Enthusiastic audiences came to expect the unexpected, and Arte delivered—both as a solo artist and as the lead singer/writer with THE HAYWIRE BAND and (later) ARTY and the IGNITERS, Fans will remember that he was on the first WDVE: Pittsburgh Rocks album, and later (with HAYWIRE), he released his own first album Silver Wings.
